Bedrooms, Landing and Stairs Carpet Installation in Gloucester

Bedrooms, Landing and Stairs Carpet Installation in Gloucester

A fresh new look with comfort and durability

At SR Flooring, we recently completed a carpet installation project in Gloucester, fitting new carpet throughout several bedrooms, the landing and the stairs.

The aim was to create a comfortable, welcoming finish throughout the home while choosing flooring that could stand up to everyday use. By combining a quality twist pile carpet with a 10mm underlay, we achieved a great balance of softness, comfort and durability.

Choosing the right carpet for your home

When choosing carpet, it’s important to consider more than just the colour. The style, texture and construction all play a part in how the carpet feels underfoot and how it performs over time.

For this project, we used a twist pile carpet, a popular choice for bedrooms, stairs and landings.

Twist pile carpets are made using twisted fibres, giving them a textured finish that works well in busy areas of the home. They offer a comfortable feel underfoot while providing a practical option for everyday living.

Whether you prefer a contemporary neutral shade or something warmer and more traditional, there are plenty of carpet styles available to complement your home.

The difference a quality underlay makes

As well as selecting the right carpet, choosing a suitable underlay is an important part of any carpet installation.

For this Gloucester project, we installed 10mm underlay beneath the new carpet to provide additional cushioning and comfort.

A quality underlay can help improve the feel of carpet underfoot, provide insulation and support the carpet during everyday use. Choosing the right underlay for the carpet and the area being fitted can also help protect the carpet from premature wear.

By paying attention to both the carpet and what sits underneath it, we aim to deliver a finished floor that looks great and feels comfortable for years to come.

Professional carpet fitting, from bedrooms to stairs

Fitting carpet across bedrooms, landings and stairs requires care and attention to detail to achieve a consistent finish.

Stairs, in particular, need precise cutting and fitting to ensure the carpet sits neatly across each tread and riser. Landings and doorways also need careful finishing to create a tidy transition between spaces.

At SR Flooring, we take pride in preparing and fitting each area properly, ensuring the finished carpet complements the home and meets the customer's needs.

The result of this project was a fresh, coordinated finish throughout the bedrooms, landing and stairs, making the spaces feel more comfortable and complete.
