Full House Flooring Transformation Completed in Stroud
At SR Flooring, we recently completed a full house flooring transformation in Stroud, completely updating the property with new carpets, LVT flooring and entrance matting throughout the home.
The project involved multiple areas of the property and included everything from floor preparation and latex screeding through to the final flooring installation.
Kitchen Transformation – Laminate to LVT Flooring
The kitchen originally had old laminate flooring installed, which was uplifted and removed along with the existing tiled floor beneath.
To ensure the new flooring had the best possible finish, the subfloor was first primed before a full latex screed was applied throughout the kitchen area. This created a smooth and level base ready for the new Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring installation.
The customer chose a modern wood-effect LVT which completely transformed the kitchen space, giving it a cleaner, brighter and more modern appearance while also providing a durable and easy-to-maintain flooring solution.
Carpet Installation Throughout the Property
We also supplied and fitted new carpets throughout:

Two bedrooms
Stairs and landing
The customer selected a luxury twist carpet fitted on a high-quality 10mm underlay to provide additional comfort, warmth and durability throughout the home.
The carpet chosen is:

Heavy domestic rated
Bleach cleanable
Stain resistant
Suitable for busy family homes
The lighter carpet colour helped modernise the property and brighten each room significantly compared to the previous flooring.
Entrance Matting Installation
The entrance hallway originally had laminate flooring, however this was replaced with ribbed entrance matting to create a more practical entrance area.
